Samsung Mobile enters Irish market

I see that Samsung Mobile is launching in Ireland. They are entering the market with 5 phone models; the ZV10(?), E350, E530, Z500 and the X480. Nice looking phones I reckon. The may be world #3 but their flip phones are generally way ahead of Nokia’s who have turned out some really awful stuff like the 2650. At least their 6060 is a step in the right direction (though external antennas are so last year man!).

  1. Are you saying that so far you were saved from Samsung invasion, at least in the phone field?
Here we have their logo on everything and mobile phones by Samsung have been on the market for three or four years now.
Though I wouldn’t buy anything from them!
I heard of so many people that had troubles with their stuff.

  2. There’s a huge Samsung ad – for want of a better word – on the way to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. It’s a giant mobile phone. Always thought it was quite cool…

  3. At least in the phone field Antonio, actually I didn’t know that until I read it. I don’t know why they didn’t sell in Ireland before. I don’t know what their quality is like but some of the phones look good.

Winds … think you could swipe it next time you’re there :)

  4. Yeah but there isn’t an apartment in Dublin that’s be big enough for me to keep it in…pity.
