  1. Is Ireland that clear today or is it that NASA’s Photoshop removed the clouds?
I had very wet and cold holidays in Ireland last month, it’s a pity I’m not there now :-(

  2. lol :)
I meant to ask you, how was your holiday? Did you have a nice time … despite the weather?

Surely you didn’t come to Ireland for the weather? That would be like me going to Italy for the Guinness and the spuds :-)

    (fuckin’ 19, OK, maca? :-) )

  4. Maths giving you a problem G?

  5. Maca,
we really enjoyed the place and we liked what we did and saw. Of course a better weather would have helped us more :-)

    Gerry,
obviously we dind’t go to Ireland for the weather ;-)
But if you live there (as I think you do) you’ll surely know that last May has been really miserable and on a couple of days we couldn’t even get out of the car for the heavy rain. Especially on May 17th and 18th, when we were right in the middle of something like The Perfect Storm in county Clare, the village of Bradford was flooded… A mini tornado hit Buncrana (co Donegal) in the same week, maybe May 15th.
We had good weather in the first week and at the end, when we were already set to go back home :-(

I think that this May was the wettest on record here. I managed to slip away for a few days to bright sunshine in Andalucia in the middle of the month. It was a bit of a shock to the system getting back to single-figure temperatures when I got home. Hope you had a good time here anyway, even if the weather was crap.

What normally happens to me is that I go on holiday just as Ireland gets the best weather of the year.

I was there the week after you, there was some rain but not too much. Most days we had nice periods of sunshine. I guess you had all the bad luck the week you were there :)
