Time photo essays
If you’re not a regular visitor to Time.com you should consider paying it a visit once in a while. Check out their Photo essays section, there’s some damn interesting stuff there on various topics from sports to Middle Eastern politics. I thought Women Warriors was interesting (I always liked a girl in uniform) and Life in the Googleplex. Buried in mud takes a look at the recent tragedy in the Philippines.

Not everything is always Black or White
I was searching for something insignificant and happened upon this interesting transcript of a January 2005 phone conversation between Aleksandra Mir and Irish artist Jim Fitzpatrick. Of course many of you will know Che Guevara had Irish links, but now you can add to your knowledge bank the fact that it was Jim Fitzpatrick who created one of the most famous and probably widely published images of the Argentine-born revolutionary.
