Google have announced plans to spread the wealth by setting up a $1bn charity fund which will fund social investment projects in the developing world!
At the time of Google’s initial stock market flotation last year founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin made the pledge that they would set up a foundation to do “good things for the world”. The result … Google.org, “the philanthropic arm of Google”, to which Google are committing 1% of Google’s stock, almost $1Bn! Good news, fair fucks I say!
