It’s always very sad to hear stories like this one of a mother and daughter who died after their car plunged into a river near Bantry. Hard to imagine what it must be like when your two kids are facing such danger.

That was terrible, God Help the surviving mambers of the family.
I know there’s dozens dying in war zones all over the world but this sort of thing always gets me. Imagine the poor little boy running for help while his mother and sister are pulled downstream. Awful!
And so bloody avoidable
Who in God’s name would have thought that this could have happened in Ireland ?
