An bhfuil Fáinne agat?

The Fáinne, for those of you not familiar with this item, is a ring-shaped pin which is worn to show that you can and will speak Irish. I just surfed by CNnaG’s page on the Fáinne and I was trying to remember the last time I saw anyone wearing the pin. I know two people who wear the Fáinne but that’s it. Anyone else wear a fáinne or have seen one been worn?

    Well it is, but in the shape of a ring. I’ll have to correct that.

    I asked an attractive girl in the shop today if it was a Fáinne pinned to her blouse .
    Turned out to be a Breast cancer Pin.

    At my age all the ones worth having are already taken ;)
