The death of Sean Kearney

I just heard of the death of a man by the name of Sean Kearney. I don’t know much about him or his politics other than he was an Irish speaker and enthusiast, which prompted this posting.
He has an interesting article about Irish books in Fortnight magazine [Jan '04], worth checking out.
