I was just checking out Easy Reader, an interactive Irish language learning program. It actually looks pretty good and something I wouldn’t mind having … but christ, look at the cost … US$ 75.00 for a single licence.
That’s one of the things that pisses me off, it’s very hard to get good Irish software cheap [or free], everyone is out to make a buck … they are entitled to of course but it’s bound to be off putting to beginners. Foras na Gaeilge would want to invest a little and try to offer good software [or other such resources] at an affordable price for language enthusiasts.
