04/09/2004: "Laws have failed to stem flow of spam"

News from the Guardian, and also covered in a number of other sites, "pornography and spam continue to flood email inboxes despite government attempts to stem the tide".

"New laws passed last December made it a criminal offence, punishable by a fine, to send spam to private email addresses". They could have asked me and I would have told them it wsn't working!!
