Saying Catholic was just an example of course but I honestly wondered would any christian church be safe?
It’s an interesting dilema…respect the church and all it stands for or blow it to kingdon come! I wouldn’t like to be the guy picking the targets.

The US is mainly a Christian country, but not a Catholic one. I think there would be little concern by many non-Catholic Christian USians if a Catholic Church were attacked in this way. But on the other hand, as one US officer said:

"If they use the mosque as a military machine, then it’s no longer a house of worship and we strike," said Lt Col Brennan Byrne
