I'm far away from your knowledge :-) But I've read (well, read is a big word...) some articles in Cionaodh's blog and I was surprised to read the content of the link about Dingle Name... I didn't know that the name Dingle has been cancelled, but I remember that signposts were already reading An Daingean only since 1994. I just spotted some key words.
