Hehe. Thanks for answering I like Gillian.She’s very talented and hence underrated, I suppose. Apparently, she’ll be imitating “Israeli English” in “The Last King of Scotland” (a movie devoted to Idi Amin), so I wonder whether guys from there have black lists of the worst accent offenders and whether they will give her a pass.

I haven’t see it yet Kiko, but as you said, reviews have been good. I don’t think she could do any worse than those listed above anyway

I’m a non-Irish but I’m curious how good or bad Gillian was as an imitator of North Irish accent in The Mighty Celt. The reviews mostly praised her. What’s your opinion, maca?

He was close but the Cruise/Kidman combo won through in the end

In Ronin Sean was British, I forgot he was in The Field.

As a non-Irish, I cannot tell the ‘quality’ of an imitated Irish accent. But do you think that Sean Bean made a bad job in Patriot Games while he was good enough in Ronin and The Field?
Or you didn’t mention those two movies for other reason?
