It might be difficult for an ambulance crew in South Central LA. Imagine a gangsta being shot in a drive-by and the crew going through his mobile looking for a number. There could be a dozen shams called “Ice” in that address book.

I suppose it would, but I guess the point of this is that it provides them with an immediate number to call without having to search through a pile of names.

But wouldn’t that be covered by having your home number saved in your phone? Or a close family member’s?
