I have Fedora at home, was going to install it but changed my mind, very few of the programs I need work on Linux (html-editor, graphics progs etc).
Something which needs to be addressed if they want a chunk of the desktop market, I guess??

That's what their website says. I talked to someone at work about it and he claims that they can offer big discounts on it ~70%.

$250 for Red Hat? That's bloody expensive considering as you say Red Hat gave it for free before and other vendors give it for free (Fedora).

But have U seen the cost?
$2500 for 10 licenses, so that's $250 each ...
It looks like Red Hat is concentrating on the Corporate server & desktop market at the moment and leaving the home desktop, and small business to other Linux vendors.
And I'd say this pisses off all those folk whom have used Red Hat (freely) over the years.
